The Story Behind the Work

Built on purpose.
Running on precision.

Twenty-five years of figuring it out — with the right people, in the right rooms, for the right reasons.

Where It Started

1998. West Harlem.
A nonprofit, a task,
and a phone full of
the right people.

Nobody handed Reginald Warren an events career. In 1998, as a youth leader at a nonprofit organization in West Harlem, he was given a single directive: develop programming for the entire year. No template. No budget surplus. Just responsibility, relationships, and the instinct to figure it out.

He figured it out.

What he didn't expect was what it felt like when it worked — when the room filled up, the program landed, and the organization's mission became something people could actually feel. That feeling didn't go away. It competed with everything else he tried to do.

The Education

The credential
behind the calm.

"This is what I should be doing" — not because it was easy. Because the work was enjoyable even though it was a lot of work.

The Foundation

Reggie earned a degree in civil engineering, continued with studies in engineering management, and built a career in construction project management. He learned how to read a site before breaking ground. How to plan for failure before it happens. How to hold a deadline like a commitment, not a suggestion.

The Proof

All the while, the events kept coming. A fashion show at his alma mater — multiple designers, a large budget, managed alone, executed cleanly. "This is what I should be doing," he remembers thinking. Not because it was easy. Because the work was enjoyable even though it was a lot of work.

2008 — Incorporated

He stopped treating it like a hobby and incorporated the company. The engineering background didn't leave with the engineering career. It became the foundation of everything that followed.

How We Think About This Work
01

The calm isn't a
personality trait.
It's a system.

Clients consistently describe the same thing: Reggie is never rattled. Not on the day of, not when a vendor cancels, not when the timeline shifts. That composure isn't accidental — it's the product of a mind trained to map contingencies before they become crises. There's a backup for the backup plan. Always.

02

We listen until we
understand what you
actually want.

The most common complaint about event planners is that they stop listening — that they make the event about their aesthetic, their preferred vendors, their past wins. We're built in opposition to that. We listen until the vision is clear, then we build something that exceeds it. Clients often describe getting back something beyond what they thought they wanted. That's not luck. That's the process.

The Work That Drives Us

Events that exist
for a reason.

We work primarily with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and social impact institutions — because in this work, an event is never just an event. There's always a purpose. A community being convened. A cause being advanced. A story being told to the people who most need to hear it.

We understand that in this work, resources are sacred. A background in engineering means your budget is treated as a commitment, not a suggestion — every dollar accounted for, every vendor held to standard, every event day managed so your team can be fully present for the people you serve.

We also plan weddings. With the same standard. Because the most personal milestones deserve the same precision as the most important missions.

01
Budget Stewardship

In the social impact space, every dollar is accountable to someone. We treat your budget with the discipline of a project manager and the care of a partner.

02
Mission Alignment

We don't just produce events. We build experiences that reflect the weight and purpose of the work your organization does every day.

03
Vendor Network

Your event joins a string of successes built through deep relationships with venues, caterers, designers, and production teams across the country.

04
Uncommon Calm

Day-of, your team stays present for the people you serve. Backstage, every contingency has already been mapped. That's the promise.
